My projects are result of tinkering I do on my free time.
I've been an Apple Watch user since 2015 and I have always found the platform intruiging. I decided it would be fun to try to build and app for the Watch.
The main purpose of the app is to get better insight into the intensity of your workouts. It collects your workout information and gives you personalised feedback on the intensity of the workout. It can be used for managing your intensity or if you are just curious about what a tough workout feels like.
A small side project I had where I aimed to increase my understanding of ergodicity and non-ergodicty in the context of decision making. I took the gambles from the Lecture notes and built the simulations myself in Python.
Ergodicity and non-ergodicity is an important concept in behavioural economics. It explores decision making with a new lens: time. We consider it new as it is completely missing from conventional models in behavioural economics.
To learn more I suggest reading the Lecture notes (quite technical), Alchemy by Rory Sutherland and Skin in the Game by Nassim Taleb.
